Recently, the METV News Crew in conjunction with Student Council applied their movie making skills to the problem of bullying as part of our Take a Stand on Bully Week here at Meridian They storyboarded their movie by themselves, came up with a theme and broke it into 3 segments. They organized and delegated tasks by themselves. They then met with Mr. Coleman and Mrs. Bartley to present their project for approval. Very little help was needed or given. They then shot and edited their movie as well as uploaded it to youtube by themselves while I stood by for guidance of which little was needed. I am very proud and not surprised what these kids can do when given time and motivation.
